This is a prototype Slatty Chair made by Tom Dixon in the mid 80s. he opended Space in 1989 and the later Slatty was made there.
This early example has steel section rear legs which were changed for a different style on the retail version. Nickel and steel. All welding is visible on this chair, it has real presence. A very nice studio piece. |
